Celebrate 500 Years of Glorious Art!

"Until you have seen the Sistine Chapel, you have no adequate conception of what man is capable of accomplishing." Goethe

On May 10, 1508, Michelangelo began work on one of his greatest works: the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. Five hundred years later, it is your turn to marvel at his work.

Join me in Italy this fall as we explore the sites in my book, A Journey into Michelangelo's Rome! We will start in Florence, Michelangelo's hometown, where we will see his David, Bacchus, and the Laurentian Library amongst other wonders. Then we will take the EuroStar through the Italian countryside to Rome where the Pieta, St. Peter's Basilica, and Moses all await. Along the way we will eat fantastic food, drink Italy's best wines, and enjoy the slow pace of Italian life.
