I was feeling a little sentimental the other day, and this song kept running through my head... so here's a little homage to the United States of America -- the land I call "home."

I Heart... Brides [Updated with a Key]

I am truly a romantic at heart, and I love a good wedding! And every once in a while I run into a wedding party when I am traveling. Once in Japan I was invited to crash a wedding by the bride's rather inebriated father! It was one of the coolest experiences I've ever had. So, today as wedding season quickly approaches, I pay homage to a few of the brides I've snapped...

Music Monday: The Sound of Music

So, last night after all of the Easter festivities were over, my husband and I sat down to watch The Sound of Music.  I hadn't seen it in since I'd been to Salzburg, and I was pleasantly surprised to see so many familiar places.  If you haven't been to Salzburg, I highly recommend it... but that's another blog post. 

I posted a bit about The Sound of Music on Facebook and, via the magic of FB, my (yes, get this) high school math teacher sent me this YouTube video.

I loved it so much I am sharing it with you for Music Monday.
