So, I love the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Those of you who are lucky enough to live in NYC can visit as often as you like. However, for those of use beyond the five boroughs, that's a little trickier to manage. Or at least it was...Look over there. At the top of the left column... see, it says "Artwork of the Day." This is my new favorite daily treasure!
Artwork of the Day is a feed from the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Each day they choose a piece of art from their HUGE collection. And here's the best part: they aren't chosen randomly. The choices in January, for example, have been very wintery and chilly paintings. During Hanukkah and Christmas, their selections were seasonal. On Epiphany, an image of the three wise men. I love the timeliness of each choice -- a link between art and life.
