Passports with Purpose: 4 Days Left!

It's not often that we have an opportunity to make a huge difference in the lives of an entire community. But this year we do! Passports with Purpose has joined together to build a village for 25 families in India. Imagine that: 25 families -- mothers, fathers, sons and daughters -- 25 families will have clean drinking water, safe shelter, and facilities all thanks to YOU!

It's amazing! And this morning we met our goal of raising $50,000! Holy cow! But there's still time to donate. Every dollar that you give will go to help support LAFTI and will help other families in need in India.

How can you help?
Go to the Passports with Purpose Donation page. There you will find a list of incredible prizes in our raffle. Purchase a $10 ticket for one prize -- or as many prizes as you'd like. We'll be notifying winners after the drawings are held next week. That's all there is to i!

And for those of you who have already donated: thank you! You are wonderful, generous people, and I am blessed to know you.

To the art angel who saved these works for the world to see: danke schoen!

And don't forget to make a donation to Passports with Purpose! Fabulous prizes up for grabs! And we are building a village in India, too! Read more here: Passports with Purpose 2010.

Black Friday: No Way!

Personally, I boycott Black Friday.  I can't stand the hype.  I do not see any reason to be in line overnight for a bargain.  After all, I'm generally still in a tryptophan coma!  But I did enjoy this...

Happy Black Friday!
