A few days ago I blogged about the new book, Mad Men's Manhattan, which chronicles the hotels, bars, and restaurants featured in AMC's television series, Mad Men.   Well, last week the New York Times had a piece about New York hotels that feature menus and packages based on shows like Mad Men, Sex and the City,  and Gossip Girl.



Among the packages chronicled in the piece are... 

• Enjoy Gossip Girl cocktails (including the B and the Eau de Vanessa) at the Lobby Bar (the Empire Hotel on West 63rd Street)
• Have a Mad Affair at the Pierre a la Duck and Peggy including room service, champagne, and a boxed set of Mad Men DVD's  (The Pierre Hotel on 5th Avenue)
• Imbibe a Don Draper mojito at The Blue Bar (the Algonquin Hotel on West 44th Street)
• Stay at the Hotel Gansevoort in Sex and the City style including cocktails poolside, boutique discounts, and DVDs (Hotel Ganesvoort on 9th Avenue)

Sounds like a trip to the Big Apple is in order!
